Rihanna has confirmed she is pregnant with her third baby after revealing her bump at the Met Gala.
All of Hollywood descended on the 2025 Met Gala on Monday evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where this year’s theme was Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.

The Grammy Award winner, 37, showcased her growing bump in a black pinstriped skirt made of a jacket with a bustle fashioned from folded blazer sleeves, with a similar striped bodysuit and a black cropped tuxedo jacket.
She topped off the look with a white collar and spotted cravat, completed with a large, black, statement wide-brimmed hat.
And while her outfit was impressive enough, fans were looking at just one thing – the reveal of her baby bump.

Rihanna used the occasion to announce she and A$AP Rocky, 36, are expecting their third child together.
The couple already have sons RZA, two, and Riot, one, having famously revealed her second pregnancy during her 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show.
The couple, who have been together since 2020, debuted their first pregnancy with a photoshoot in New York in January 2022.

Rihanna had made her red carpet appearance alone after Rocky had walked earlier wearing a black suit and sunglasses, as well as carrying an embellished umbrella cane.
Rocky was one of the co-hosts of this year’s Met Gala, alongside Anna Wintour, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, and Pharrell Williams.
While Rihanna has yet to speak out about her latest pregnancy, she previously revealed how it affected her style.

She told Vogue in April 2022, a month before welcoming her first son: “When I found out I was pregnant, I thought to myself, There’s no way I’m going to go shopping in no maternity aisle. I’m sorry—it’s too much fun to get dressed up.”
Rihanna joked: “I know [my stylist] loses sleep over it because my measurements can literally change from hour to hour. In fact I’m sure he’s going to ask for a raise after this!”
After having her second baby, Rihanna admitted she’d gotten “lazy” with dressing herself, telling Interview Magazine last year: “It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’ Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”

The singer also revealed in the interview that she and Rocky wanted more children together, adding: “I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two.
“I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
